OneWorld SafeDisk Extended Data Recovery provides unlimited data recovery services covering labour for the stated contract period.


OneWorld SafeDisk Extended is only valid after online registration. This service contract is not exchangeable for cash.

OneWorld SafeDisk Extended will commence immediately after online registration. The service is only valid after a successful registration. End users are required to register within 45 days from date of purchase. OneWorld SafeDisk Extended will not provide data recovery services for unregistered devices (Devices Supported). You are required to keep the OneWorld SafeDisk Extended card and tax invoice of device purchased in case we need to authenticate further. Customer Invoice must reflect the fact that OneWorld SafeDisk Extended service plan and hard drive/device were purchased at the same time. A 45 day Indemnification to OneWorld SafeDisk Extended that user's hard disk has to be in working condition at point of registration. Failure to note this point will void the OneWorld SafeDisk Extended service contract.

The data recovery services are fully rendered by OneWorld SafeDisk Extended. As such, computer manufacturer will not, under any circumstances, be liable for the data recovery services performed by OneWorld SafeDisk Extended to the end user.

This service program covers unlimited recovery service for devices listed at: Devices Supported

Logical Failure (software damage)
a. Deleted files, formatted disks resulted to data loss.
b. Corrupted system partitions on drive.
c. Computer virus causes data loss.
d. Software corruption.
e. System malfunction causes data loss. E.g. unstable Operating System (OS)

Physical failure (hardware damage)
f. Drive damage by impact due to dropping, vibration (head crashed).
g. Drive damage by components overheating due to prolong usage
h. Drive damage Wear & tear (mechanical failures)
i. Drive damage due to burned chips found on PCB board (electrical failure)
j. Drive damage due to water spillage or power surge.


If data recovery service is needed, the drive/device must be sent to PC manufacturer's service centre for 1st level repair service before sending the drive to OneWorld SafeDisk Extended for recovery. If the device is deem necessary for data recovery, the shipping process must be of a 0neWorldSafeDisk approved process which information and shipping costs will be shown at time of data recovery registration process.

OneWorld SafeDisk Extended will not perform data recovery services if the registered hard disk drive has been mishandled, hard disk seals are tampered with or other indications that the disks have been opened. In these situations, OneWorld SafeDisk Extended will be void without any cash reimbursements.

Any drive/device sent in to OneWorld for recovery will generally be taken on a first come first served basis, (an average 12 to 14 workdays. Any jobs by default will go to Normal Queue).

The user's hard disk has to be in working condition at point of registration. Failure to note this point will void the OneWorld SafeDisk Extended service contract. No cash reimbursements will be made.

Not all cases are recoverable. The recovery will always be done on best effort basis. Data Recovery Service does not apply to permanent data loss due to complete or partial overwriting or very severe data platter damage due to crashing read-write heads. In the event that the media is none recoverable, OneWorld SafeDisk will assign your license to your new media and give a 365 day extension.

OneWorld SafeDisk Extended completely covers the costs of all lab and labor costs. OneWorld SafeDisk Extended will not cover any other costs associated with the recovery such as delivery fees, materials or loss of business due to data loss.

Any drive/device sent in to OneWorld for recovery must not be of computer forensic in nature. Forgotten passwords to access a secured disk or file system are not covered under this service.

OneWorld SafeDisk Extended is not transferable. While OneWorld SafeDisk Extended does not limit the number of data recovery services, the data recovery services is only applicable to the hard disk that was registered with OneWorld SafeDisk Extended. Replacement to the registered hard disk will void the OneWorld SafeDisk Extended service contract.

Warranty of hard disks that are physically opened for data recovery services will be rendered void. No further warranty claims can be made against OneWorld Office, the OEM, or other OneWorld subsidiaries.

All personal details submitted to OneWorld SafeDisk Extended will not be disclosed in any way except to computer manufacturer or for OneWorld SafeDisk Extended's internal consumption.
